After many weeks of research , trial and error I’ve came across a blog with a list of the best Facebook Groups to post in if you have a Home Based Business to promote.

After all there’s no use wasting your time if you’re not going to have anyone see your posts and thus not get any results for your time and effort. Although there are many other ways to promote your offer and get better results, by sheer numbers Facebook Groups will get you some results if used properly and with the right content.

Most people tend to prefer those groups with the most members and just blast them with whatever business or offer they are promoting.This strategy usually leads to a lot of work and time being wasted since unless someone is looking for exactly what you are promoting and happens to see your post nothing will come of it. Since most people posting in the Facebook Groups are already involved in a Home Based Business they are promoting, they are not there looking for another opportunity to get involved in and the likely hood of them even looking at what you have to offer is close to nil.

LELAKI MENIPU MENERUSI TAWARAN CABUTAN BERTUAH DIBURU

Klang, 11 Feb - Polis sedang mencari seorang lelaki yang menyamar sebagai pengurus pasaraya dan menipu pelanggan menerusi tawaran cabutan bertuah palsu di beberapa pasaraya sekitar Lembah Klang.

Ketua Polis Daerah Klang Utara, ACP Mohd Shukor Sulong berkata pihaknya menerima lapan laporan mengenai lelaki ini sejak 10 bulan lepas dengan jumlah kerugian sebanyak RM103,250.

Suspek didakwa menawarkan mangsa dengan hadiah pelbagai jenis kereta dan modus operandinya ialah dengan menyakinkan bahawa nombor resit pembelian mangsa sama dengan nombor enjin hadiah kereta cabutan bertuah itu, katanya kepada pemberita di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata suspek kemudian memujuk mangsa memberikannya sejumlah wang bagi digunakan untuk menyediakan cukai jalan dan insurans kereta tersebut.

"Suspek mensasarkan golongan lelaki berumur sekitar 40-an atau yang sudah bersara sebagai mangsa dan setelah mangsa bersetuju memberikannya wang tunai, suspek akan terus menghilangkan diri," katanya.

Mohd Shukor berkata menurut laporan polis yang diterima, lapan mangsa itu mengalami kerugian sekurang-kurangnya RM3,000 hingga RM30,000 seorang.

Orang ramai dinasihati supaya lebih berhati-hati jika ditawarkan menyertai cabutan bertuah, dan jika mempunyai sebarang maklumat mengenai lelaki itu, mereka diminta menyalurkannya kepada ASP Chandran Ramasamy di talian 016-605 9999.
Beliau berkata kes itu disiasat mengikut Seksyen 420 Kanun Keseksaan.

Dalam perkembangan lain, Mohd Shukor berkata polis sedang menjejaki tujuh lelaki warga tempatan bagi menyelesaikan pelbagai kes jenayah.

Mereka terdiri daripada:
R. Sivaneswaran atau dikenali sebagai Wany, 30, beralamat terakhir di Blok C, Tingkat 3, No. 1, Pangsapuri Bestari, Sri Perantau Pelabuhan Klang kerana terlibat dalam lebih 20 kes samun dan pecah rumah di sini.

Tiga adik-beradik kerana terlibat dalam kes bunuh iaitu:
M. Kamalathasan, 29, M. Loganathan, 28, dan M. Thacinamurty, 26, yang beralamat terakhir di No. 105, Jalan Serampang 1, Taman Sinaran Off Jalan Teluk Pulai, Klang.
M. Thanasegaran, 25, beralamat di No. 33, Jalan 42, Taman Bunga Melor, Jalan Meru, Klang;
S. Jakathis, 26, di No. 36, Jalan Sentosa 36, Kawasan 19, Taman Bunga Melor, Klang dan A Kumareswaran, 20, No. 6, Leboh Pulau Pinang 8, Taman Meru Jaya Off Jalan Meru, Klang kerana terlibat dengan satu kes berkaitan seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan tahun lepas.

Modus operandi:
1. Suspek akan mengiklankan telefon bimbit jenama terkenal harga yang murah di internet.

2. Mangsa yang berminat akan mudah percaya dan seterusnya membuat pesanan.
3. Setelah mendapat bayaran, telefon bimbit tersebut tidak diserahkan kepada mangsa.
4. Suspek menghilangkan diri.

Nasihat polis:

1. Digalakkan berurusan dengan saluran rasmi produk tersebut.

2. Orang ramai dinasihatkan untuk lebih berhati-hati apabila membuat pembelian atas talian.
3. Sekiranya perlu, digalakkan berjumpa dengan penjual produk semasa proses pembelian.

4. Pastikan laman sesawang yang dilawati adalah rasmi dan disahkan selamat.

5. Jangan mudah terpedaya dengan orang persendirian dan tawaran harga jauh lebih murah daripada harga pasaran.

6. Berhati-hati ketika memberi maklumat peribadi yang diminta oleh penjual sama ada maklumat yang diminta itu relevan ataupun tidak.

As the prices of essential goods and services in Labuan and Sabah have risen steadily, it is imperative that consumers fully exercise their rights.

Since the end of last year, consumers have claimed that some retailers and suppliers had increased the prices of goods.

Business operators on the other hand, have cited fuel costs as the main factor in the escalation of the prices of goods, especially those from mainland Sabah.

Labuan enforcement chief Aslani Dabi told Bernama consumers should boycott errant and unethical traders and fully exercise their rights.

“We must use our rights as consumer by boycotting shops selling goods at unreasonable price, and what is more important, consumers must change their buying pattern to off-set the rising cost of living,” he said.

Aslani said there were many ways of lessening the burden, in view of the rising cost of living. One way is to be thrifty in our spending and not purchase items beyond our affordability.

Labuan Consumer Action Council chairman Fauziah Mohd Din said consumers must not let the government to solely deal with the issue of high cost of living but instead, jointly play their role by fully exercising their rights.

She said boycotting premises which indiscriminately sold goods which were pricey, was one way of 'educating' errant traders to be ethical in business.

Fauziah said under the current situation, with the increase in power tariff, consumers must now start practising a moderate lifestyle.

"Essential items in Labuan are priced higher than those in the mainland of Sabah due to transportation charges. Therefore, consumers must now be wise in controlling their budget, rather than blaming the government," she noted. -- BERNAMA

Woke up early today , after sending kids to school i went to a clinic . Was thinking to go there early to avoid long queue in the clinic. Traffic is slowly building up as many of them just left for work especially those who working nearby , can see some traffic policemen trying to ease congestion in certain areas.
reached the clinic at 8 am and to my surprise there is almost 12 patients before me.. gosh !! I guess everyone was just like me :(
While waiting for my turn , i walk around to check out some shops nearby but most of them are closed at this hour. While walking i smell something , decided to check it out.
Thinking that the smell could come from rubbish dump but i decided to check the drain first.
Huh... See it yourself !!

The water in the drain is dark in colour and not moving at all. It haven,t rained for at least 10 days !! and the drain water is drying up.
Very sad and angry when i see this , no doubt that it's something very common. So i took some photos and decided to relate this matter to the local council , hoping that they will do something about it.
Perhaps clean up the drain , place a refuse bin and educate our community. By throwing rubbish out is definitely the easiest way out but look at what have we done!!

To many of us this town is very famous for local food especially seafood. As it is situated very near to port and fishing village. You can find many seafood restaurant which prepare food in Chinese or Malay style.
